My go to when I'm waiting for wof check or repairs at cta across the road. Pies nice and full.
3 T Bakery 705 Gloucester Street (Opposite BP Dallington)
Another underrated gem in Christchurch
4 Burwood Bakery. 265 Burwood Rd.
Solid, consistent pies. Very flaky so don't eat in car.
5 Aorangi/Sockburn/woodend. All owned by same people. I think lovely pies. Won't list all addresses but you can't go wrong with any of them.
6 The Naked Baker in New Brighton. 142 Beach Rd.
Some unique flavours here but get in quick before they sell out.
7 Sydenham Bakery. 424 Colombo St.
Great selection of yummy pies and their sausage roll selection is good too.
8 Woolston Bakery (red building) 622 ferry rd. Above average food. I'd rank a lot of their stuff highly.
9 Frank's Cafe does some awesome pies but not much selection. Located in the corner of Eastgate mall food court.
10 Butcher's pie shop. Riverside market. 86 Cashel St

Fat Bastard Pies. Based in Invercargill but they ship nationwide on subscription. Amazing pies.
Fairlie pies have a reputation. They're available some places in Christchurch.
Jimmy's have a cult following in the south island. Night n Day stores sell them here.
Sheffield pies I'm told are great so they will be my next pie review.
