To assemble the cake, soak the ladyfingers in the milk, and place them in a square-shaped cake pan, while alternating with the chocolate biscuits.

For the custard, whisk the milk with the egg, flour, starch, sugar, vanilla sugar, and lemon zest in a pot. Cook it, while continuously whisking, until thickened.

Pour the custard over the cookies. Cover it with plastic wrap and allow it to chill in the fridge.

To garnish the cake, arrange paper strips across the top. Then, dust the cocoa over the cake before removing the strips.

Serve immediately!
