According to press reports, an Australian man named Fraser discovered he had Alzheimer's at the age of 41. This is a relatively young age, yet scientists now believe that people who may have the disease manifest symptoms at a younger age.

This appears to be the case for Fraser, a teacher and researcher. He gave a detailed interview to Australian media, stating that even before the age of 41, he had noticed specific symptoms, symptoms not at all related to memory loss.

"I couldn't follow conversations like I used to," he said, and then wondered why such a situation was occurring. Everything changed when he watched a movie.

"I watched the whole thing without remembering having seen it just a month earlier. I found out from my partner. I had no memory of seeing it, and that's when I started to worry. I was 38," Fraser said. From there, tests began, which revealed that the man had the condition.

In fact, according to scientists, even not remembering having seen a movie, or even simply being unable to follow the plot, can be early signs of the condition.

One evening, Fraser had completely forgotten that his daughter had gone out to the movies, so he called her on her cell phone, at which point she scolded him, saying she had called him hours earlier. "I didn't remember at all," the man stated. A truly unusual story that shows us how important it is to never underestimate any symptom.
